30 Days in the Life: Day 29

Last night was the perfect little break
we needed from all of the packing and
anxious waiting we've been up to of late!
Our friend, Nago, invited a few friends over
to the 'atico' she recently moved in to
for a few requisite pintxos (of course)...

And lots and lots of laughs...

You know, often when The Reading Guy and I
are headed home after a little get together like
last night's, I can't help but walk away with
such a genuine warmth in my heart--
and last night was no exception...

Because the friends that we have made here,
are really one in a million! They are so
incredibly kind, and open minded...

They are simple and humble,
and cultured and smart...

We learn so much from one another
each and every time we meet.
From our diverse traditions and differing
philosophies, to our favorite foods and pastimes...

So unique and somehow so much the same!
Maybe that's why we all can't help but feel right
at home in San Sebastian in spite of the fact that
we have traveled from all over the globe to make
our lives here...

We'll see you tomorrow for our
FINAL day of the series--
and some fun shots of the big
holiday bash we are heading to tonight
:o)

  2. Now, my time starts again, where I am blessed with the company of having the Reading Girl and Guy home. Where they make me smile, laugh, get mad, get happy, wonder, learn, teach, etc...but most of all, they make me feel loved and make me feel like the luckiest person alive to have them by my side. Love you
