Wow! What a week we are having--
my little brother turned seventeen yesterday
(which is kind of mind blowing in and of itself)...

And the day before that was
The Reading Guy's father's birthday...
And today I am a little under the weather
(which means I am not as energetic as I'd like to be),
and there is still a bit to be done ahead of our return
to Texas this Saturday. I have been drinking hot tea,
and taking far too much medicine for the past twelve
hours, with the hope that I'll be back on my A-game,

Thursday: friend's housewarming party
Friday: The Reading Guy's workplace holiday dinner
Saturday: Tie up all loose ends and head to Bilbao hotel
Sunday: Wake up REALLY early to catch the first of three
flights in our customary 24-hour long haul back home ...
