The Reading Guy and I have quite a
few reasons to be counting our blessings
lately, and one of those is undoubtedly
the fact that we have the most incredible
neighbors here in San Sebastian...
Words can hardly describe them, but I'll give it a try:
they are beautiful and kind, generous and wise,
and they are like family to us. As it turns out, they
often spend half of their time in San Sebastian and
the other half in Sevilla, which unfortunately means
that we don't get to keep them all to ourselves the
whole year round...
And since they are heading back south in a few days,
we happily had them over to our 'piso' for a light
dinner--but mostly we just wanted to have a few last
precious hours with our wonderful new friends before
we say goodbye for a few months...
We had the most lovely time, too! There was
good wine and simple food, laughter and joy...
And it really is in moments like these that
we are reminded of how truly lucky we are
to have people like them to call our friends
Although I can't help feeling that they are
SO MUCH MORE than that, and hopefully
that they always will be...
Thanks for stopping in
