The Fab Four

I wanted to give a WARM WELCOME,
to my new friends who have found their way here
via Ana White's amazing new book--
The Handbuilt Home...

I figured that one of the best ways to
introduce myselfwould be to offer up a
quick and easy look at some of my most
recent favorite projects...

My hubby and I are currently spending half of our time in
northern Spain in the coastal town of San Sebastian
(which you can read much more about here,
here, here, here, here, here, and here)!
But before we made the jump, our non-nomadic lifestyle
revolved much around building our dream home back in Texas.
After we were married (ahem, nearly four years ago),
we found ourselves so excited by the prospect of
filling our new empty house with lots of love...

And that we did--
but we did it all on a budget, and nearly entirely on our own!
We learned how to install light fixtures, paint (LOTS of) walls,
build furniture, and ultimately how to design a home that reflected
who we are and what we like. And each time that we are back in Texas,
we spend the majority of our days sporting paint stained t-shirts
as we work our way through an endless list of D-I-Y projects...

So, without further ado--
MY FABULOUS FOUR!
You can just click on any of the projects that
meet your fancy to see their respective original posts...

Feel free to learn a little more about us
and keep up with our traveling ways
on the top menu bar of the blog!
Thanks so much for making your way here--
we hope to keep you coming back for more :o)

XO
