It's no secret that I love myself some antique shopping, 

even more so when it's done in a perfectly tiny French town!

I've been "antique'ing," in all sorts of lovely settings and if it 

were strictly up to me, every single trip that we ever go on 

would involve such treasure hunting at every chance...

I Think I Cannes

After visiting, Nice and Monaco on our little tour of
the French Cote D' Azur, we headed out to visit yet
another notorious gem of the coast, CANNES...

Fairytale Fun

 Oh, I hardly know where to begin when it comes to the
uber-dreamy Monaco! Maybe I should start with the obvious:
Monaco is BEAUTIFUL!

And I'm not talking Nice beautiful, or Cannes beautiful, 

or even Paris beautiful--I'm talking fairytale beautiful, people...

Nice, MORE Than Rocks

 

As you might have guessed, there is MUCH more to the
gorgeous city of Nice than all of those lovely rocks I
shared with you last time! Are you up for a little tour of
what Nice has to offer apart from it's sparkling beaches?
Well, VOILA...

Nice Rocks

Once we started spotting palm trees along the highway

we knew that the Cote d' Azur wouldn't be far away, 

which could really mean only one thing--

The Road Less Traveled

The Reading Guy and I (being the Texans that we are)

happen to take long road trips in stride and don't usually 

let the thought of driving hundreds of miles get in the way of 

venturing out--in Texas it's kinda' par for the course...

We're Baaaaack

My Sweets and I are back from our little getaway

 to the South of France! We had an incredible time, 

and I have so much to share with you--including 

some helpful tips for when you make your own 

trip to the Cote de' Azur and a few pictures that 

will have you urging to book those airline tickets

Road Prep.

It won't be long now before we're heading out to the
dreamy French Riviera and neighboring Provence.
But before we go, we've had some prepping to do:
like mapping out what is sure to be a memorable
drive through the beautiful French countryside...

Road Trip

A few days ago, when I found out that my Sweets had planned
a little 'Semana Santa' escape for just the two of us, I was SO excited--
to say the least! In only a few days we'll be off to the Cote d'Azur,
happily making our way through the Pyrenees and beautiful Provence
in the comfort of a teeny tiny car with an ever trusty map in hand...

Renter's Dilemma

Our home away from home here in San Sebastian is quite
the little diamond in the rough, because while this beautiful
coastal town may be home to countless wonderful things, accessible
real estate is not one of them. Ultimately, we were really lucky to have
found our current piso and we quickly fell in love with its simplicity,
beautiful light and of course its location...
